According to the Economist, 'The world's most valuable resource is no longer oil, but data'.
Data is often collected into a spreadsheet (you've seen the student data, the test scores, etc in sheets) and you need to be able to leverage that 'valuable resource' to work for you and help you teach others. These skills also align with the K-12 Computer Science Standards. Hands on sheet is provided with data so you can practice as you learn. * We will cover things like:
- Expand & Move Columns
- Select All
- Freeze Row
- Sort
- Checkboxes
- Wrapping Text
- Filter
- Split & Concatenate
- Conditional Formatting
- Explore Tool
- Graphs
- Auto Average & Sum
*Disclosure: Beginners should be able to locate sheets and access the tools on the menu. In this one hour we will complete a variety of hands-on activities using a template with preloaded content. If you are very new to G Suite you might need to practice again later as it will be run a quicker pace than a typical 'beginner session,' if you are very advanced you might already be familiar with most of things techniques but you can use this for your own training at a later date. Something for everyone.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
