Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Often seen as Powerpoint's simplified and under-powered counterpart, Google Slides is a actually a POWERHOUSE of an educational tool.  Need to present with advanced animation? Google Slides.  Need to design an engaging newsletter or poster? Slides it is.  Want your students to have a self-guided review unit that is interactive and responsive?  Go see Google Slides!  This session will guide teachers through the basics of using Slides as a presentation builder, design/publishing suite, and interactive playground.  It is ideal for teachers and students who are new to Google Slides, or are interested in learning more about the endless possibilities it provides.

Attendees will be guided through Slides and create engaging introductory presentations, design and publish classroom posters, and build interactive playgrounds and environments.

Attendees will develop their basic skills in using Google Slides, be able utilize various functions and options in Slides to design classroom resources, and learn how to create interactivity and self-guided responsive experiences for their students within a slide show.
