Screencasting 101: MultiModel Support for Learning & Advanced Pedagogies

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Screencasting is not a new concept nor was it introduced with the cloud.  Teachers have been screencasting for years yet so many have never considered doing it.   With the increased adoption of student-centered learning, Universal Design for Learning, personalized learning, flipped learning, blended learning, screencasting skills are not optional.

Screencasting meets so many needs at once and has so many uses, not knowing how to create screencasts on the fly, well, it's just not cool! If you don't use screencasting as a way to improve your instruction, efficacy and/or communication, please learn now!

This session will help those NEW to Screencasting and Screencastify but seasoned screencasters may get some good ideas to go further! :)

What we cover:
1. What is screencasting?
2. Why screencast, with specific examples?
3. Where do you share Screencasts?
4. How do you create a screencast?
5. How do you create a Forms Quizzes with a video or created screencast?
